At the moment many see Martin O’Neill as the favourite to take over from Sir Alex however I have a hunch for a person who thus far has not even been mentioned for the position. No one can argue that Sir Alex Ferguson has performed supremely well since becoming the manager of what many consider to be the best football team in the world, Manchester United. It will be very hard for whoever takes over from Sir Alex to fill his shoes as they say. There are numerous foreign managers who, as usual, will be in contention for the role.
