The Ronaldo That Everyone Forgot AboutPosted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesOnce such a promising young, strong and talented striker the Brazilian star is fighting fitness and also looking for a job! He suffered a severe injury whilst at AC Milan last year and has been in rehabilitation ever since. The injury to his knee was career threatening however his contract with AC Milan was over just in time so the club released him. There were rumours of Ronaldo playing for various Brazilian club teams such as Flamengo, Botofago and Fluminese but they are all un-true. The one bit of truth however is that he appeared in a charity match earlier this week in Brazil and is looking to regain a position in the top flight. “I don’t know if I will continue to play or retire, I still haven’t taken that decision. I am tired because my rehabilitation work has been hard and my legs are heavy”. Revitalizing Collegiate Playing RoutinesPosted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesThe secret to this drill is having the ball constantly moving around and from hand to hand. The drill starts with the head moving the ball in a circular motion from hand to hand, then proceeds to go under the arms, around the waist, then the knees, and finally through and in between the players legs. Coaches can mix up the drill by shouting out body parts that the players will have to start circling with the football; they can also reverse the direction that the ball is traveling by calling, “reverse”. Changing the direction of the football ensures that they don’t form a habit, and that they remained focused on the ball and controlling the movement. At the very end of the drill the players will do several simple drops. The player will drop the ball and quickly pick it up again. They also should rotate which hand they are using to pick it up so that you can increase ball handling with both. The Proper Way to Catch a High Football Because not all throws are perfect you will need to prac … Tags: Ball Handling, Body Parts, Circular Motion, Habit, Knees, Legs
