Football Fundamentals Coloring kid, you must get the ball into your opponent’s end zone. Get yourself an egg-shaped, air-filled leather ball to throw, catch or kick. Follow the rules and regulations. No running “any-which-a-way” with the football, man! Only two teams can square off. Your team and the other guy’s team must have eleven players on the field at one time. Smaller football leagues use fewer than eleven guys. The teams take turns playing offensive (trash talking is allowed), then playing defensive (cry baby guys are not allowed). The offensive team possesses the ball until they score, or fail to gain 10 yards in four tries, or loses the ball to the defensive team. The defensive team tries to stop the offense from gaining yardage or scoring. The defense tries to steal the ball, too. 3. Organized Football Structure Do you love knocking people down, kid? Is screaming in a big guy’s face your dream come true? Is slamming a little guy into planet Earth your idea of fun? Well, C …

Football History American football comes from rugby football. The first major football game was won by Rutgers University (score - 6) against Princeton University (score - 4). Their war was in 1869 — four years after the Civil War. Coloring football boy, the main idea of football is still the same. Football fans still yell, “Run that football!”, “Throw it!”, “Kick it!”, and “Score man, score!” 2. Football Fundamentals Coloring kid, you must get the ball into your opponent’s end zone. Customer Review: Best Price Found I shopped around for quite awhile - this was the best price I found. This is the same football that is sold in sporting goods stores, when you can find it in stock, for at least $30 more.

Wilson F1003R GST Game Ball Football The Wilson 1003R GST is designed with a host of features to provide you with the best all-purpose football available. The new, improved 899 WE leather with tanned-in tack and deep pebble design combined with the 1005 small pattern and deep channels provide great gripability. Wilson’s advanced Accurate Control Lacing System (ACL) replaces traditional laces with thick, pebbled composite leather laces, providing a softer, more gripable feel which translates to better control. The composite grip stripes ensure that no matter where you grip the ball–even if it’s on the stripes–you’ll always have control.
Customer Review: Wilson Football Purchased this football for my son. We wanted to have a ball exactly the same as his school’s game balls. The ball was fairly priced and matched all expectations. Delivery was on time. No complaints with the purchase and the process. He just needs to break it in now. I was actually very pleased with he price as I had previously purchased a leather ball from a big box store at double the price. Customer Review: Amazing at first but didn’t last I’ve had this ball for two years now. I only used it sparingly (compared to how it would get used on a high school or college team)to play flag football and an occasional pick-up game. When the ball was brand new it had the most amazing grip of any ball I’ve had before. I speak from a QB point of view when talking about the grip. The laces were thick and the composite stripe provided a good grip for my forefinger. However, after about a year the leather became really slick, especially in cold dry weather, and my thumb would slip a lot and my receivers complained about the slickness of the ball. It finally died on me today when I realized it was leaking air. Although my review has focused on the negative aspects, I give it four stars because during my first season playing with the ball it was simply the best ball I had ever thrown. I felt like I could throw a perfect spiral even if my throwing motion was off. Also, I haven’t ever had another ball that didn’t wear down after a couple years, but I just expected more from this one after being so happy with it initially. If you’re someone who changes balls every season then this is a great ball to get. I wouldn’t recommend it for throwing in the backyard simply because of price.

Customer Review: Don’t go synthetic We love the all leather Wilson footballs and since they are sometimes hard to come by in leather, I typically order them from Amazon. Never have an issue with shipping. Only problem with the leather is that it will not stand up to abuse on blacktop surfaces. It will rub the paint off the ball, especially the white line. Keep it on the grass. Customer Review: Great Product The wilson Leather game football arrived in plenty of time for my grandson’s birthday and it was a great gift. The ball was good quality and the right size for his hands. I recommend this as a gift for any young football buff.
