A poor start to that season cost the gunners dearly and with expectant supporters demanding an upturn in league performances, there is certainly pressure on Arsene Wenger to produce title winning football at the start of the 2006-2007 campaign. Many outside viewers perceive reaching the champions league final of 2005-2006 was a classic example of “papering over the cracks”. The loss of Patrick Vieira to Juventus hit the gunners hard (harder than many Arsenal supporters ever imagined). They certainly missed his leadership qualities if not his football abilities. As a direct consequence of Vieira’s departure Thierry Henry was instilled as the new captain. Wonderful product, I bought it so everyone would know which club I support. ARSENAL!!!!!!!!!!! It is pretty big though so that’s good cause I want to drop my 17″ HP in it. I only have 1 small peeve and that is I thought the straps were abit bigger, I’m 6 2″ and my back is pretty broad so they feel pretty small on me, lol. Overall though this is a must have for Arsenal fans and anyone that want a nice backpack.

A. Cup Semi-Final Replay between Arsenal and Man Utd at Villa Park in the Spring of 1999. This was the year of the famous Treble that was achieved by Man Utd, when they secured the F.A. Cup, European Cup and the Premier League, and indeed to anyone watching them over that season, destiny would be the one of the first words used to describe that season. And one of the best examples of that was the match against The Gunners. Utd took the lead through a wonderful 25-yard curling shot from David Beckham which nestled into the the bottom left hand corner of David Seamen’s net. The dream start had come for Utd. David Beckham, whatever else he may be, is gifted I feel with a tremendous right foot, and he has the ability to generate enormous amounts of spin. It stayed 1-0 until mid-way through the second half when Denis Bergkamp, Arsenal’s Dutch forward, cut inside from the left wing and struck a shot.
