Florida State Seminoles College Football TicketsPosted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesDespite the 42-year hiatus in collegiate football, FSU’s passion for the sport has not diminished throughout that time. This enthusiasm has been reflected in the team’s performance as one of the top teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference. (ACC) Named after the Florida-based American Indian tribe, the Seminoles have been playing at the Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium, located at the FSU campus in Tallahassee, Florida. Nicknamed “The Doak,” the stadium was named after former FSU president Doak Campbell. The stadium field was named after Bobby Bowden, longtime (and current) coach of the Seminoles who is legendary in his own right as he steered the team to a number of memorable victories throughout his 32-year career. It is also interesting to note that this stadium is also the largest among all the football stadiums used by the ACC member schools. Football Grounds - All Seater StadiumsPosted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesOne measure was the introduction of all seater stadiums replacing the standing areas that were known as terraces. In 1994 all seater stadiums were made compulsory in English football. This did not go down well with those fans that had stood to watch their team for many years. Supporters will sing songs and chants as loudly as they can in an attempt to encourage their team and spur them on to better performance and results. The main criticism regarding the introduction of all seater stadiums are the effect they have on the atmosphere inside the ground. The football match was used as a meeting place for many groups of supporters. When fans stood on the terraces they were free to stand where they liked and could move around to different parts of the ground. This is no longer possible with the advent of all seater stadiums and means that you have to sit in the relevant seat number which is displayed on y … Tags: Advent, Atmosphere, Chants, English Football, Football Grounds, Football Match, Football Stadiums, Meeting Place, Seat Number, Terraces

Why Are Churches Full and Football Stadiums Empty? What Football Can Learn From Church MarketingPosted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesAngus says that for years he thought that he needed to do more for Christ, this led him to start the Mighty Men Conference (MMC) in 2006. A convention focused on preaching to men, asking them to turn to God and also teaching them how to become good husbands and parents. The first convention in 2006 attracted 1000 men to the Shalom farm and in 2008 Buchan expected 30,000 men. Surprise, surprise, 60,000 men turned up from all corners of the world. There was no advertising, there was no selling. It all happened by customer evangelism word of mouth marketing miracle. Angus has repeated this pulling factor at Loftus in Pretoria, Newlands in Cape Town and several other places. Was there anything new the men who turned up heard? I do not think so. The word of God has been the same since the coming of Jesus Christ but, the people of God have mastered ways to connect, attract, engage and reach out to people continuously. They never end a service without appealing to those present to act as dis … Tags: Angus, Buchan, Cape Town, Church Marketing, Churches, Coming Of Jesus, Evangelism, Football Stadiums, Jesus Christ, Loftus, Mighty Men, Miracle, Mmc, Newlands, Parents, Pretoria, Surprise Surprise, Word Of God, Word Of Mouth, Word Of Mouth Marketing |
