Portugal Football Team - Get the Latest About Euro Cup and World CupPosted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesThe team got its greatest performance in 1966 in England when they managed to qualify for the final tournament, in a semifinal, when they were defeated by England. We have to mention that England obtained the title that year. They were leaded by Eusebio, a legendary football player and they managed to defeat Brazil with nil to three and defeated North Chorea with 5 to 3. That year Portugal was the third football team in the world and Eusebio was considered the best player of the tournament. Now, in 2008, the Turkish coach, Fatih Terim, has declared that he has been disappointed at the result obtained in the match with Portugal, in which his trainees have lost with a score of two to nil. He said that at a moment, they were equal in the first half and the Portuguese had moments of weakness as well, but the first goal did change the match. Portugal is one of the best football teams in Europe and the result of this game has confirmed it. In order to show their sympathy for the Portuguese … Tags: Best Football, Best Player, Brazil, Coach, England, Euro Cup, Europe, Football Player, Football Teams, Game, Match, Moments Of Weakness, Portugal Football Team, Portuguese, Score, Sympathy, Terim, Trainees, World Cup

Espn College Football Picks - Win Betting on Sports Today!Posted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesAnd while some may refer to it as a bit rough, it nevertheless has some grace to it, which if appreciated in the right manner, might seem polished. To say however that it is as graceful as ballet for example, would be pushing it. American football is a tough sport. This is characterized by the sport in that, to be an effective football player, one should have the right size so that they may be able to compete properly with other players. This is not to say of course that all football players are huge. There are also a few exceptions. And one of them is Doug Flutie. This rather short man, having American Football as basis, grew to be one of the greatest quarterbacks in football. But the highlight of his career was when he was in college. College football as differentiated with pro football is faster, and more aggressive. This is evidenced by the fact that players in it are younger compared to that of pro football. But when we are talking about the play that takes place between these le … Tags: American Football, Ballet, Betting On Sports, Betting Sports, College Football Picks, College Sports, Doug Flutie, Espn, Espn College Football, Espn College Football Picks, Espn Football, Exceptions, Football Betting, Football Player, Football Players, Greatest Quarterbacks, Highlight, Player One, Pro Football, Short Man

Youth Football - The First Week of Practice - What Do You DO?Posted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesI know when I first started coaching I just used the same practice drills and approach I had used as a youth football player 25 years prior. We did all the things I had suffered through, monkey rolls, hills, crab drills, grass drills, firemens carrys, butt rolls, laps, pushup, sit-ups, squat thrusts, gassers, line drills, etc etc We were a team that was never going to be out-conditioned we were going to win that 4th quarter, blah blah bah. Why We Changed That all changed about 10 seasons ago after I had the pleasure of coaching with a former High School coach, Jay Smith that had coached at Canyon Springs High School in California. His teams had won two USA Today National Championships. This coach did things significantly different than most of us had been used to, no grass drills, no monkey rolls, no crab drills, no gassers, if it wasn’t football related he didn’t do it. This coach took a 2-8 team and turned them into a 10-0 team in one season in the most competitive division in the l … Tags: 4th Quarter, Butt, Coach Jay, Coaching, Football Player, Gassers, Grass Drills, Jay Smith, Line Drills, Monkey, National Championships, Pleasure, Practice Drills, Pushup, School Coach, Sit Ups, Squat Thrusts, Ups, Usa Today, Youth Football

Fantasy Football Tips and Tricks for ChicksPosted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesDraft date is an important day to pay attention to when you’re beginning to make decisions that will affect your fantasy football team, so be prepared on April 26th and 27th to host a “girl’s night” in front of the TV and see which football player is going to what team. This information will be extremely helpful to you when you begin planning your women’s fantasy football team. (Plus, you get to see the football players run around in their tight pants and who doesn’t love that?) Women fantasy football owners are becoming more and more prevalent in an otherwise male-dominated realm of fantasy sports. It’s scary to get out there and play with the big dogs, I know. But recently I’ve found the entertainment value and the excitement that can be had while playing fantasy football and I want to be a part of that regardless of the fact that I’m a chick! Chicks can play fantasy football just as well or better than men can and this season we’re going to prove it. Don’t worry if you’re clueless … Tags: April 26th, Big Dogs, Chick, Chicks, Decisions, Entertainment Value, Excitement, Fantasy Football Owners, Fantasy Football Team, Fantasy Football Tips, Fantasy Sports, Football Player, Football Players, Love Women, Realm Of Fantasy, Tight Pants, Tips And Tricks

What Are the Qualities of a Football Team Striker?Posted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesThe question then is who is a striker? And what are the qualities of a good striker? A striker is a football player whose responsibility is to score goals. This simply means that if a striker cannot score goals then he should not be in the team in the first place. Now, let’s look at the qualities of a good striker or forward. A good striker should have a clear vision just like a good goalkeeper. A good striker should be able to convert any chance to a goal. But he cannot just take his chances if he cannot see very well. A good striker should have speed. This is where counter attack comes into play. If the strikers in a team lack speed then counter attacks become useless. If you take a look at Spanish, Argentine and Brazilian national teams you will appreciate the value of speed to any striker. Spanish, Argentine and Brazilian teams are so good at counter attacks simply because they have strikers that can move with the ball so fast. A good striker should have what I call “goal sense”. … Tags: Brazilian Teams, Clear Vision, Football Player, Football Team, Goalkeeper, Goals, Score, Spanish, Strikers, Team Striker
