Where Will Donovan McNabb End Up in 2009?Posted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesBut is seems like the Eagles may be ready to cut ties with McNabb and look to the future. They did draft Kevin Kolb in the 1st round for a reason. I can’t say that I agree with this reasoning or that any of the Eagles struggles has been McNabb’s fault. To me, it seems like more of the blame should be on head coach Andy Reid. I think that the rest of the NFL has seemed to have caught up with Reid and the way he calls a game. He is too predictable and far too pass happy. To be truly elite in today’s game, you can not be so one-dimensional. The Eagles have the biggest offensive line in the NFL, but yet they can not convert on 3rd down and short. Reid doesn’t need to call running plays 50% of the time, but should keep it above 40% just to keep opposing defenses honest. Regardless of that fact, both McNabb and Reid are on the hot seat in Philadelphia. A lot of the Eagles fans have already turned on McNabb and are booing him. So I will look into some possible teams that McNabb could end up … Tags: Coach Andy Reid, Donovan Mcnabb, Eagles, Elite Game, Head Coach, Hot Seat, Kevin Kolb, Line Nfl, Lot, Offensive Line, Philadelphia, Ties

Eagles: Peterson Signs Deal and Changes His NamePosted by: Mr.Football in Football Sites and The Best ArticlesThis change might be synonymous of a new start for the player who did play in a game in nearly 14 months because of back problems. Peterson was regarded as one of the NFL’s emerging young cornerbacks in 2004. Cornerback Dexter Wynn, who is a sixth-round selection in the 2004 draft, has to leave the roster in order to make some room for the newly signed player. In his three seasons with the Eagles, Wynn appeared in 28 games. General manager Tom Heckert explained that he always admired James as a player. When James was playing with the Giants, he already tries to sign him two times. No wonder, James is an outstanding good cover cornerback player, who has good size, and a very productive player when healthy. The New York Giants released the former NFL star early this spring while they suffered from numerous injuries in the secondary this season. James does not yet on which spot he is going to play on the roster. Cornerback Roderick Hood is rumored to have totally recovered from some nagg … Tags: Cornerback, Cornerbacks, Dexter Wynn, Eagles, Former Nfl, Game, Games, Nagg, New York Giants, Nfl Star, Productive Player, Roderick Hood, Signs, Three Seasons, Tom Heckert

Made a nice run with rookie Joe Flacco but got beaten by the rival Steelers… good season. 6. Panthers. 12-4. Taken by surprise in the playoffs, but had an overall great season. 7. Cardinals. 9-7. Carried by Fitzgerald, they sneak into the playoffs, and then make a solid run to lead Warner to another emotional Super Bowl with the Steelers. 8. Eagles. 9-6-(1). Got cut short by the Cardinals deep passing game, but really showed that they have what it takes. 9. Chargers. 8-8. Little production from LT in the playoffs cut San Diego short yet again in the postseason, but they are a consistently threatening team. 10. Falcons. 11-5. Led by Matt Ryan, Atlanta made a push, but stumbled at a bad time. No one expected the depleted Falcons to have this kind of success. 11. Vikings. 10-6. Choked early in the playoffs, but ended up not having a bad year, taking advantage of the departure of Brett Favre from Green Bay and wi … Tags: Bad Time, Brett Favre, Cardinals, Chargers, Eagles, Falcons, Fitzgerald, Green Bay, Joe Flacco, Lt, Matt Ryan, Panthers, Passing Game, Power Rankings, Ravens, San Diego, Season Finale, Steelers, Super Bowl, Vikings
