This article will focus on the basic steps you need for quarterback stance training. After you break the huddle and approach the LOS and center, plant your feet shoulder width apart, feet pointing straight ahead. The equal weight distribution will give you the proper balance you need under center. You want your head up giving you a clear field of vision. Have your eyes looking straight ahead, looking over the defensive scheme so you can read the play called by the defense. As you settle into your quarterback stance, you want your shoulders slightly in front of your hips for comfort and balance. Have your hands one on top of the other the passing hand on top. Palms open, your fingers spread, have the middle finger lined up with the center’s inseam. The ball used in the game is spherical in shape and is not too big neither too small in size. In the 11 players there is also a goal keeper whose job is to defend their side of the team by not allowing the ball to pass through the goal posts. The game rules does not specify any positions of the players else than the goalkeeper. The teams can make their own strategies by positioning the remaining 10 players at any point of the ground boundaries. The ball can only be touched by the feet, the head or sometimes the chest of the body. If the ball touches the hand, it is considered a foul and suitable advantage is given to the opponent team for the foul. The game is won by the team which is able to score the most goals at the end of the time limits. The time limit for the game is divided into two parts for a total of 90 minutes and each of 45 minutes. In between there is a small break for the refreshment and relaxation of players. Even though the NFL and the AFL were rivals before the merger, the NFL considers the records set by AFL teams and players their own. American Football League records for the 1960-1969 seasons prior to the merger include statistics for yards passing, yards rushing, points scored, and Most Valuable Player awards. These records include single games, seasons, and careers. The records break down as follows: The AFL’s records for most passing yards include: George Blanda - Blanda holds the most passing yards in a single game with 464 yards on October 29, 1961 with the Houston Oilers. Blanda was the AFL’s Most Valuable Player in 1961. Joe Namath - Namath recorded the most passing yards in the 1967 season with the New York Jets with a total of 4,007 yards. In possibly the penultimate season of Sir Alex Fergerson managerial career, he will look to equal Liverpool’s record in the English Top Football decision. With 17 league championships Man U are only 1 behind current League leaders Liverpool who have 18. This is going to be the most challenging season for Manchester United. With Liverpool intent on dropping points to Stoke, Fulham and Tottenham they will be smarting from losing their poll position they have worked so hard to obtain. Yes, they went down to a sloppy goal from a corner, but Phil has to take the share in the blame for the way Man U cut them open 2 more times after the break. Jose said it well in a interview. “I …

If it is a three-step drop that means shorter routes, faster plays and you need to react faster. This article will discuss how to cover the receiver and read the three-step drop. As a corner back you line up across from the receiver but your eyes are in the quarterback while you watch the receiver with your peripheral vision.
