English football league clubs hope the implementation of the home grown rule will help the wider game. Not everyone will agree with that sentiment especially premiership clubs who are overloaded with foreign players. It is highly unlikely that the biggest and most wealthy clubs in English football would agree wholeheartedly with this rule.
